Northwestern University Family Conference

SUMMER 2012 - FAMILY CONFERENCE ON JUNE 23, 2012
CTD’s annual conference is a special event for the families and educators of gifted students. Participants select from an array of sessions throughout the afternoon. Engaging workshops are offered for adults as well as students in grades 4 through 12.
Parents and educators will benefit from the keynote address delivered by Dr. Kristie Spiers-Neumeister and Dr. Virginia H. Burney. The two renowned experts in gifted education will discuss ways parents can help their child achieve the 21st century skills required to succeed in a dynamic global arena. The team will lead a second session on “perfectionism” and what a parent can do to prevent such behavior from inhibiting their gifted child’s development.
