Patti Tobin: I feel very fortunate to be doing something I love. I can't remember ever wanting to be anything but a teacher.I grew up in New York, earned my Bachelors of Science degree from SUNY Oswego, and Masters in Education from the University of South Carolina. I have been teaching for almost 20 years. I began my career in upper New York State teaching 4th and 5th grades. Living in 5 states during the next several years, I taught 2nd and 3rd grades as well. After getting married, and staying home with my three daughters, I resumed my teacher career in Naperville. I have been the Gifted Resource teacher at May Watts School for 14 years. Throughout these years I have also taught accelerated math and enrichment. The years have passed quickly, as I have been blessed with a wonderful family, and hundreds of amazing students.
